Precise driving feel with advanced winter grip

Changing lanes on slushy highways or merging into busy traffic from an icy intersection can be a challenge. To tackle this challenge, we have optimized the tread pattern to widen the contact area between the tire and the road. This leads to improved grip, logical handling and precise steering. We have also tailored the siping to improve braking and accelerating grip.

The optimized tread pattern allows the tire to maximize the contact area between the tire and the road, improving the winter grip, logical handling and steering precision. The directional and symmetric tread pattern ensures predictable and controlled behavior in all conditions and improves the overall safety of the tire.

Dense siping and tailored grooves

Designed to prevent dangerous slushplaning, the new tread comes with dense siping and tailored, connected grooves. The siping ensures excellent lateral and longitudinal grip offering safe and controlled driving. The tailored grooves accelerate the removal of slush and water by efficiently storing water and quickly transferring it away from the tire and driving surface.

Alpine Performance compound

The Alpine Performance compound tackles the cold winter conditions, while offering excellent performance in milder weather across a wide temperature range.
