Unmanned tractor?

The whole idea would have sounded outlandish just a few years ago, but today, Valtra does serious research with autonomous tractors for snow ploughing and other tasks. But that’s still a long way from achieving any speed records. We arranged special conditions and tweaked the firmware quite a bit. The result was 73.171 km/h with a tractor that did not quite flip over at the corners.

The father and the son

You don’t have to be much of a rally fan to recognize Marcus Grönholm, a two-time WRC champion with 30 rally wins. But his son and codriver on the video, Niclas Grönholm, is also up and coming rallycross driver competing in the FIA World Rallycross Championship – in GRX team, which is managed by his father Marcus. And by the way, his grandfather Ulf was also a rally driver. The speed runs in the family!
