“It offers excellent comfort and has good self-cleaning”

Mr. Mark Geurts owns a contracting company, doing small earthmoving jobs. “The tire is very stable and the noise level on the road is very low. Mr. Mark Geurts has used different products by Nokian Tyres, but the new Nokian Tyres Ground Kare tire is his favorite so far. “It combines the best of my both previous tires by Nokian Tyres”, Mr. Geurts explains. “It has the stability of Nokian Tyres Excavator,and the behavior on the road and on the sand of Nokian Tyres CT –but with more damping in the carcass.”

“The load-bearing capacity is noticeably better than with twin wheels"

Sami Isomäki does excavator work around Helsinki, Finland, mainly on construction sites. He values tire stability and low surface pressure, so when purchasing a new Komatsu excavator, he went for wide single tires – namely Nokian Tyres Ground Kare. It turned out the tire supports his work very well.

Mr. Isomäki has used twin wheels on his previous excavators, but Nokian Tyres Ground Kare has proven to be more suitable for his work on soft surfaces – most noticeably on loose surfaces such as rubble. “Before, I had to rely on a tracked excavator in difficult terrain”, Isomäki says. “Now Ground Kare works well in places where twin wheels would have been stuck.”

Mr. Elbert-Jan Broekhuis works with his Doosan DX 140W excavator for house building, gardens and parks as well as for building and maintenance of roads and waterways. The Nokian Tyres Ground Kare tires give him the crucial stability needed for safe working with the people on the ground. “We often have to position heavy concrete components with people working around them”, Elbert-Jan Broekhuis says. “Stability is the key safety requirement”.
