Nokian Tyres presents a new size for Forest King F2 tire and other globally tested tire innovations at FinnMETKO 2024

At Nokian Tyres stand 620, the latest product release is the new size of Nokian Tyres Forest King F2 CTL forestry tire, which will be officially launched in the run-up to the fair in week 35. The completely new size, 30.5”, is designed to improve harvester and forwarder performance with its increased airspace and minimized chance of rim slip.

 

“There is a demand for forwarders capable of transporting more wood with fewer driving cycles," says Teemu Vainionpää, Product Manager at Nokian Heavy Tyres. "The new 30.5” size is a direct response to this demand, offering increased load capacity and improved performance."

 

Complete wheels make a perfect match

To complement the new Forest King F2 tire, Nokian Tyres also presents a whole new custom-sized wheel and inner tube. The resulting complete wheel is designed to be a drop-in performance upgrade for harvesters and forwarders. Nokian Tyres offers a wide range of complete wheels for forestry machinery, tractors and excavators, taking advantage of the perfectly matched tire and wheel.

 

New solutions for agile and soil-friendly farming work

In farming, wheel loaders are more and more popular due to their agility and efficiency. To extend their grip on all kinds of surfaces, the new Nokian Tyres Ground King Loader has excellent properties both on soft soil and on hard ground.

 

For soil-friendly and efficient field work, Nokian Tyres presents its VF tires for tractor and trailer use. Both feature the Flexforce® VF technology, which has been proven to increase efficiency while reducing fuel consumption.

 

Nokian Tyres Soil King VF is the first tire for high-powered tractors utilizing the new Flexforce VF tire technology. It has been tested by the highly regarded DLG, or Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft. The comparison against other premium agricultural tires proved its best-in-class performance in field and transport work with lower wheel slip and fuel consumption as well as a larger treated area per hour.

 

Nokian Tyres Float King VF is a new tire for high-capacity trailers and tankers utilizing the Flexforce tire technology. It has proven exceptional efficiency with flotation and grip in challenging soil conditions.
