New Nokian MPT Agile keeps soldiers and civilians firmly on the road

The block-patterned Nokian MPT Agile, tested in co-operation with the Finnish Defence Forces, carries big loads securely and unwaveringly. The sturdy multi-layer body structure guarantees a stable and durable ride in rolling forest terrain as well as on rough highways.
 
The new Nokian MPT Agile (365/80 R 20) features a greater number of tread grooves and a bigger arrow-shaped block angle compared to its big brother (14.00 R 20). This results in even better grip in quickly changing winter conditions, on slippery ice or in wet slush. The winter grip of the tyre, which is intended for demanding military use, is enhanced by a tread compound that is based on natural rubber and designed especially for Nordic conditions.
 
Thanks to a wide contact area, the Nokian MPT Agile also works efficiently on hard surfaces. Compared to its competitors, the tyre is pleasantly quiet even at high speeds. It gives a secure and natural driving response. The traction and durability of this versatile special tyre come into their own when there is only one way forward. The agile tyre does not weaken on soft terrain or on sharp stony ground. The arrow-shaped tread pattern ensures that the tyre cleans easily, thus improving grip.
 
The numbers stamped on the Nokian MPT Agile tread (15 mm, 10 mm, 5 mm) show the remaining groove depth in millimetres. The numbers fade, one at a time, as the tyre wears down. Stud locations for both military and civilian use are also marked on the tyre.
 
The load-bearing capacity of the new Nokian MPT Agile 365/80 R 20 is 3550 kg / 90 km/h / 625 kPa
